L'Assemblea itinerante
Verso un'Assemblea permanente dei popoli per l'Europa
→ Definizione dell'agenda: Come assemblea pilota, non ci concentriamo su raccomandazioni politiche specifiche, ma sull'esplorazione di risposte democratiche alle crisi, che chiamiamo "tempeste". Le crisi mettono in evidenza chi detiene il potere e possono essere opportunità per un maggiore coinvolgimento dei cittadini.
→ Focus sulle pratiche democratiche: Esploriamo come l'UE possa coinvolgere meglio i cittadini durante le crisi, affrontando sfide come l'alienazione e la rabbia. Prenderemo in considerazione le esperienze passate, chiedendoci quali pratiche democratiche dovrebbero cambiare, essere scartate o istituzionalizzate per migliorare la risposta dell'Europa.
→ Un laboratorio per il cambiamento: Questa assemblea è un esperimento per passare dall'azione individuale a quella collettiva, con l'obiettivo di influenzare le pratiche democratiche all'interno delle istituzioni dell'UE.
→ Storytelling e arti civiche: partiamo da esperienze vissute piuttosto che da esperti, utilizzando lo storytelling e le arti civiche per dare vita a queste narrazioni.
→ Connecting Beyond Borders: Con partecipanti provenienti da circa 20 Paesi, esploriamo come costruire connessioni transnazionali che diano potere ai cittadini di tutta Europa, al di là delle iniziative guidate da Bruxelles.
→ Radicati nella democrazia locale e transnazionale: Connettiamo le azioni locali con la più ampia politica europea, mirando a colmare il divario tra le comunità locali e gli sforzi transnazionali.
→ Affrontare le voci assenti e di lungo periodo: Cerchiamo di democratizzare la previsione, bilanciando i bisogni attuali con i risultati futuri, e consideriamo come includere le voci di coloro che sono assenti dai dibattiti attuali, come i rifugiati, i non cittadini e le generazioni future.
