The Travelling Assembly

At the end of the assembly on the Sunday 29th sept at the PNYX the Athenians members will meet for a few minutes by district/neighborhood to decide together how they will want to go about their local democracy and take this moment forward.

Apart from the symbolic significance (Athens being the cradle of democratic ideals), this initiative responds to modern and practical needs as well. in today’s complex socio-political environment. Athens has faced significant transformations in urban development, infrastructure, and social dynamics, creating both opportunities and challenges.
